Responsive therapeutic mixed reality
The patient uses their hands to interact with gamified activities placed in the real environment, working on emotional regulation, attention, movement and cognitive stimulation.
Wearable sensors adapt each scene to the patient in real time, while a connected app lets the therapist monitor and control the session and review the results.
Connected care system
The workflow connects four parts: the XR application, wearable sensors, the therapist’s control app and a web platform for reviewing session history, results and progress.
The technical challenge is synchronizing hand input, biometric data, live streaming and remote controls while keeping every activity responsive. Together, these capabilities support emotional regulation, mindfulness, animal-assisted therapy, and physical, cognitive and occupational rehabilitation.
Research-backed health
The platform builds on peer-reviewed research including ARCADIA, The Garden Within, extended reality for mental health and adaptive mental health metaverses.
The underlying experiences were co-designed and evaluated with mental-health professionals from Fundación ACAVALL, Proceso Terapéutico, ACOVA and Fundación SASM, as well as therapists and patients. ITI Mind remains a preclinical support platform, not a medical device or a replacement for professional judgement.
